Not sure if it is worth it, but is it possible to spin in a marina and is fishing not allowed in marinas?

I have some small grub (3-4 cm) I might be able to catch something... Just in case the wind doesnt died up before I have to go home :(

Depends which Marina belhysys, Pontoons are generally off-limits and I don't think you're allowed to spin in Portomaso Marina.

gozo on the marina pontoon is good if you use grub. Especially if you have a bit of rough seas
the fishing gods might have something for me tomorrow I'll be fishing

Belhysys, pop over to ta' xbiex, If you have Grubs, you can mount them on Jig heads with #3 or #4 hooks, and fish them OTD for Scorpion fish.

FREEDRIVE THANK YOU !!!!!

went back and I manage a baby jack about 35cm, on a ultra light rod it was great fun and big rush of adrenaline. I caught it on a xrap 9cm.

nothing else but this was worth a lot.

And of course I forgot the camera, the good thing is that in a couple of years it would be a 5kg jack :P

The baby jacks in Malta I believe are called Cerviol

Back to UK :(

I managed to fish one hour before leaving at the same place. No jack but I managed 2 Burqax by jigging a small soft lure close to the bottom.

belhysys, there are plenty of places to practice Light Rock Fishing in UK :) You can hone down your skills until the nest time you visit
