My new sport - How to start?

Hey guys,

so far my fishing experience is only about fishing with a rod, what is my biggest passion. Also I always liked snorkelling, so I decided to start spearfishing. The first step is already done now, I went to the police and applied for the license to buy and carry a harpune. But for the next steps I would like someone to give me advice, something like a "manual" for absolute beginners. I would like to start fishing this weekend, so which harpune to buy? What to pay attention for when starting with this sport? So many questions and I am sure you can tell me where to find the answers!?
