Interesting to read about the Clousers taking lampuki, I fish Clousers on a conventional flyrod for golden grey mullet & bass, I find the most successful colour to be chartreuse, looks like I have to bring my Clousers to Malta later on this month! ;)

they are very good for fishing our sea. Most predators go for them.

the problem with such predators is how much close to the shore they get and for how much time!

from boat i've been trying clousers and other flies for the last two years and they are very effective.

I've also tied some of my own. they also work good.

get your fly fishing gear and try it out blueskip. remeber to get that thing where to put the extra line while you're casting as all good places are mostly spiny rocks and your line gets tangled with such rocks.

the fishing gods might have something for me tomorrow I'll be fishing

You mean a line tray Adrian, yes good idea, allowing the line to fall onto the rocks as I retrieve would be no good at all, thats something else that has to go into the hand luggage ::)
