Hi everyone, Bit late as I have been offline for a few weeks :-\. I was in Malta in June, staying in Qawra. When I was there it was blowing a gale and un-fortunately I was unable to do a bit of boat fishing which I had been looking forward to for ages :(. I did manage to do some shore fishing behind the Qawra Palace with some floats that I brought with me called pellet wagglers. These floats are weighted at the base of them and can easily be cast about 30-40 meters. I fished these with about 1 meter between the float and the hook with a small piece of bread nipped on the hook. I caught quite a few mullet to about 1.5 kilo's and quite alot of little fish that looked like dark coloured wrasse type things. All in all we had a great holiday and are now looking forward to coming over again next year ;D
