I wanted to ask, cause up till now i have always used the paternoster rig, those people who have used both rigs which one yields best results well casting out  away from shore , does the running ledger tend to cause hooks to get stuck more often to the bottom or not ?ty

keep on with this rule:

on rocky snaggy bottom go for paternoster
on sandy or partly sandy/ rock bottom gor for running
