just saw yr reply, no my boat has a soft canopy it gets in the way but cant do without it as use it mostly when i use it for pleasure (that when the wife comes along) i have to have some shade along the back of the boat u can see the boat on the pontoon in the picture, in the background, as u can see its quite open so need the shade, as much as i would like to have the american version but that mostly for fishing not for pleasure.
