Hi and help can any of you good people on this brilliant Forum tell me if there are any fishing or any other shops that sell used or second hand fishing reels. the reason for asking this is that I collect older type reels such as Mitchell, Abu. Record.or similar reels to use in my fishing (Dont like modern reels ) I will be in Malta in november so I can have a ride round on the bus if you know of any where. PS. I allways have a couple of trips to MisterFish at Iklin so Iknow that one. Thanks for your help noztheviking

As Big boy said I never came across second hand fishing gear in any shops I go to. The only place I have ever seen such items would be in car boot sales ,  but they are normally all held on a Sunday in various places.

Hi NOZTHEVIKING, I think you will find what you need on the ebay. Quite a good selection.

Noz, shops definately not that I have come across. I have a 1965 Penn Senator 9/0 that I'm currently servicing, but it was my dads first big game reel so wouldn't part with that due to sentimental value.

As Baksi said, ebay is a good option.

Maybe one could check www.maltapark.com, sometimes I see some fishing tackle for sale there.
