A friend of mine gust got one and i used it. It is not bad but nothing special. Anyway for its price its a bargain.

mate for that price im sure it won't even guide you where the fish are and i doubt it gives you the right depth ur fishing in

As for the depth gann it gives correct readings. up to 200m.

the link reuben gave specifies that it reaches to 100m. then fish finder ranges are measured in fresh water and since we use them in the sea we must reduce the range by 30%.

so one that specifies 100m will read till 70m in the sea

I think that like the maltese say ''tihu ta li thallas'' I think when buying this equipment its best to buy something reliable !

Ok guys thanks for the info, i will look for one from a shop in malta and then see how much its on the net.

Beginning of Summer i bought a Garmin fishfinder. I asked for a discount and the Maltese agent and I ended with the same price as If i imported it from the US. And dont forget that there is the Maltese guarantee so ur mind is at rest in case something goes wrong.(shanook)
