Bryan, was looking for something myself as well without adding too much extra weight to the boat. Fishmaster have a dealer in Italy imd@internationalmarinedealers.com as well as the UK http://www.wakeboardtower.co.uk/

Of course the $1195 (?853) excl shipping has been translated on the UK dealers site to ?1195 or around ?1330 which ain't cheap and one would still need to ship it to Malta although maybe Camkev could help out with that.

The thing is the horizontal stand-offs mount to the existing center console to give some support so your console needs to be well mounted in the boat and steady. I went through the installation instructions and it certainly seems like a great product, would be nice if something similar could be replicated locally for less money as it's certainly not a cheap kit.

The only iffy thing about US style T-tops is that they don't give that much sun shade protection that we need over here give how they are basically only sitting over your console, covering a small part forwards and back.

Guys i dont know if this can help but why not print a picture of it and have it custome made in malta ?? Surely it will be cheaper.

$1195 with the girl included is not that much bigboy eh? :-) even though you'll find out it will be much more expensive to run after! :-)
I think that if I eventually decide (which would definately not be for the coming season), that's what I'll do bigboy... print a picture and take it around. I've heard about Medway Placebo - Apparently they manufacture good quality stainless steel items. Will keep them in mind.
Skip if it's custom made, you could maybe make it a bit longer towards the back and maybe not so high up to get maximum coverage. Even I am a bit weary about fixing to the console cause mine is only fixed with four screws. I might have to reinforce it someway.
I'd rather be fishing.....

Benri, please note that if you order one make sure that's mounted permanently and not foldable cause I had one in the past and had to remove it cause although it was strong it tented to loose and started dancing in rough sea.

Things like that are always a concern, one thing I noticed about these T-tops is that they use horizontal stand off's to get support from the center console to preventing the Top shaking left to right. You can also install additional vertical ones.

Usually the problem with shaking tends to come from the pipe diameter being small and not enough supports. A bit like my current canopy!!!

Benri, with that girl included, I'll forget the folding meckanism, I'll go for a fixed installation. I will surly catch my finger (to say the least) while folding it!!!
Can't wait to go fishing
