Last weekend I managed to connect my Suzuki Df140 to a Lowrance GPS/Fishfinder using LowranceNET. To be honest, understanding the setup was quite complicated and far from straight forward. Skip gave me a good introduction to the system but I also had to do quite a lot of research as for Suzuki manufactured after 2008 the system is different. I had to get all equipment from the US and UK but would like to say that it was well worthed! I can now get all sorts of data displayed on the GPS like
Fuel economy, Fuel range, Fuel remaining, Engine RPM, Trim, alt. voltage, fuel rate, hours used and more..... In fact I now also ordered a digital display gauge to show this data in order not to clutter the display on the GPS.
Should anybody else be interested in setting up the type of network please feel free to ask especially if your Suzuki is manufactured after 2008. I can guide you as to what parts are needed etc...
I'd rather be fishing.....
