I bought a rapala magnum from a shop in Zabbar, and the shop keeper said that it was good for both spinning and trolling. But now I'm not sure that he even knew what spinning from the shore really was. I went on the rapala site and found the lure that I bought...and it says that it is only for trolling. Does someone have any experience with this lure? Should i try and return it back to him? If I give it back to him, what should I get instead of it for fish like Plamti, Cudas, etc.? remember...i only spin from the shore.
Thx in advance,

Yes it is but mine is kind of chunkier/fatter and it has a violet stripe on its side, between the blue and white. But yes that is almost what i have. Is its size good? or is it too big?

If your trying to catch plamti or other tunny use spinners

It is a little too big for land spinning and even deep diver it's not the best choice you can make.I find deep divers very good on boats(trolling) but for land fishing never had a bite or follow up.
FISHING IS THE BEST HOBBY AND IT'S GREAT FOR RELAXING

Deep divers are good after the sun is up, or at least that's what I think, but in the mornings or until the sun goes up I would go for surface lures. Also and this is again my personal opinion, plamti are a bit reluctant to bite on big lures but as for cudas it shouldn't be a problem, If they feel they have to bite they would try to chew on a swimming cow.

As some of you said mates i use surface lures in the mornings and i find them more efective for cudas than deep divers. But i think it depends as well....on the other hand i never had a bite from a plamtu at the surface (till now). Perhaps i go tomorrow and i will change my mind on this fact. But fishing is like that hehe every day is a surprise  :D

that colour is a natural colour. But i would go for a bright coloured lure foq early mornings.

A clown or red head will do the job ;)
