i would like to have a go at this, as a change from pole fishing, iny ideas on rods etc ,length ,price, i have a couple of yo-zuri mag minnows length 85mm, 9g floating, are they any good, can you spin from any where in malta.

Sounds good... as far as i know, you can.... watch out for the bouys in bays though.

take a look around the forum using the search button for different types of predatory fish. for example there are at least two very good threads for barracuda / lizz.
