Dear All,

I know some of you have expressed the desire to watch shore based competitions, whilst others have offered to help in the past.

Just in case any of you might be available we need the following roles based on shore at B'Bugia Jetty:

Competition Judges x 3 (Will oversee that the rules are followed and be responsible for recording the weigh-ins)
Competition Assistants x 2 (Will help with weighing the fish as boats come back and general organisation on the day)

Those occupying the above two roles will need to be at the B'Bugia jetty between 10am - 4pm on Sunday 28th June. The forum will provide a gazebo tent for protection from the sun, along with a table and some chairs plus refreshments. In addition we will provide T-Shirts and hats so that you can be easily identified.

Vessels will come alongside, off-load their catch which will be weighed and officially recorded. The competition judges along with the Competition Director will take care of any disputes or breaches of the rules.

Just to remind everyone, this competition will be filmed by Mister Fisherman and aired on National TV.

If you are able to help, please post below.

I have shown my intention to participate in the alongi competition as a crew member,(should there be a place), but unfortunatly on the same day there is another competition which is organised by our club (Kingfisher). So I cannot take part or offer my help in the organization of the said competition
