Kahli u Kavall

Given the persistent strong wind which doesn't seem to want to stop, I opted to do stay within the Harbour and this is where I caught these 2 kahli and the kavall, using forok and rixa.

Well done, does anyone have a good location for catching kavalli, even if its inshore by boat. Would quite like to get some live ones and keep them in a live bait well.

The best method which I found for catching kavalli is to find a calm day, go out just before sunset & anchor around 1 - 2 miles off Sliema for a couple of hours, usually till around 2 or so in the morning when the fish stop biting. I use a "lampara" to attract the kavalli to the surface.
