Hi Everybody! I just got to Malta a couple of days ago and have been going up and down the country and just love it! I'm staying in Paceville and was wondering if anyone has fished offshore around that part where there is the Hilton Hotel on one side and opposite the Casino. If so, any quick tips regarding how to go about it and what to expect? Of course, there is the powerboating event this weekend hehe Smiley
Thanks a lot and keep up the great work with this forum!

one tip, be carefull of broken bottles there, because the fekkin exchange students there get drunk and smash them bottles against the rocks. them and arabs... honestly take care, it would be better if you can catch a bus and go to pembroke or bahar ic cahaq. very close, and you might catch something nice if you fish with paternoster and some worms.

Thanks a lot guys, I've seen those broken bottles already, what a mess. Anyway, what would be the closest worth visiting tackle/bait shop?

Thanks robby017. What do you mean what am I after? Tackle: just the rod itself, got a couple of reels with me and the rest of it, obviously need some bait aswell:) Fish: any bigger than a palm will do, I'm looking for some leisure fun, and will most probably go for ledgering. I was also hoping to do some spinning, but that's not the most important thing:) Will let you know how it goes.

use worms, pricier but better.... awrat is very difficult to catch, but not impossible... good luck...
