Dear Forum Members,

As winter is approaching, I would like to see whether forum members would be interesting in meeting up one evening for a Fenkata or a Hutata!, meet members in person and exchange stories, tips, techniques etc.

Give us some feedback

Okay some of you have expressed an interest, reckon we have around 7-10 ppl who could make it, so its now up to me to plan and get something together as the season has basically come to an end. Also perhaps in 2007 more ppl would be inclined towards fishing together on planned trips. More boats, great chances at least when trolling. But am sure everyone wants to meet face to face and chat, discuss etc. Also like the idea of like club Fads which was mentioned, maybe something for next season if people are game.

I know some ppl are more specialised in areas that others, SimonG spearfishing, Placebo inshore fishing, Ciapinnu Squid fishing, and this year's offshore catch record holder for Albacore was gottie I believe. We should cross-train!

Watch this space for a venue and date, but do let me know what ppl prefer in terms of time. During the week, fri eve, sat eve or sun eve etc
