Hi
cant help much , however heres a site with suzuki parts exploded view. check motor
specs and find relevant section. This might help you see what is required.

usually when removing the gear case the impellor is housed in a housing passing through the  shaft held in place with four bolts. removing these and lifting off the housing exposes the impellor.(usually held in place with a woodruff key or cam pin etc)note its location. The impellor is removed out of the shaft. If the gaskets are ok  just refit the impellor (noting direction of blades) smear there tips with grease so that when turning shaft to install housing they wont be damaged.when fitting gearbox to engine you will need to turn the shaft slighty to align splines.this you cant do by turning the prop. ensure that water tube engaes and that you wont bend the selector shaft(tal forward/reverse) and ensure all grommets are in place.
