Guys sorry I didn't attend to your bbq but I had to wake up early on sat and it was worth it!!! Caught 82 lampuki and also some fanfri but didn't catch any cervjol!!!

this morning alot of lampuki next to SPB fish farm. Caught six and lost two.By 10am they disappeared.

spitec they are always like that a the beginning they congragate near the fish farms. But they get harder and harder to catch they learn fast i suppose. If u go early morning u have a chance of catching some lampuki there.

If I had a boat and space where to put it! But I will see if my friend will be going because he has one outboard and we don't take risks to go much further out.

today im going to south east to try for them cause they told me that is where they are caching most. go round the farms and the ships. hope for the best. my setup done fresh yesterday is 3 klamar 6cm followed bu metalla with klamar piece at the end , for fragrance aue de fishy. in the meantime i do conz tal lampuki with sardines. will post results yes or no later.

anyone tried jigging for lampuki?... will try it out myself next time out (probably this weekend). Saw a film on u-tube the other day in which the guy actually caught some nice lampuki (think it was somehwere in South France)...didn't keep the link. Anyway, it definitely makes sense to jig for them.... x'tahsbu l ahwa?

i got some on jigging.

it was great to catch some without consuming fuel. it was nice. i used a small metal jig and i also got some small cerviol.

i used a spinning rod for tip action. When dorado is abundant on an FAD anything works. Even if you trail a piece of squid on handline.

The problem now is finding that FAD full of lampuki !!!!!!!!!!!

caught nothing yesterday went to birzebbuga farms and tanker then drove up to SPB farms to try my luck but nothing . better luck next time
