This August, world class AIDA Freediving Instructor Trainer, Head of Freediving Education for DeeperBlue.com and author of the book ?One Breath, a Reflection on Freediving,? Emma Farrell is delighted to bring her annual Freediving summer school to the island of Malta with her team of AIDA Master Instructors from the UK, Greece and New Zealand.

For two weeks, Emma and her team will be teaching AIDA Freediving courses, all of which are open to locals. For those who can?t manage a week long course, we have two special seminars on Sunday 16th and Sunday 23rd August at the National Pool between 12 and 4pm.

The course consists of a classroom lecture followed by a breathing lesson and then two hours training in static and dynamic apnea.

The seminars are open to beginners as well as experienced freedivers who speak English and are over 16 years old. Participants will be required to complete a self-certifying medical form and liability release. Equipment is provided however if you have your own Freediving equipment then you are encouraged to bring it. Certification with AIDA is available after completion of the seminar.

Cost ? 48 euros

What it includes ? AIDA * Freediving course, National Pool entrance,  Theory handouts

Optional certification ? 20 euros

If you would like to attend, please contact Daryl Borg Cardona at Aquatica as soon as possible to book your place. If you are interested in taking more AIDA certified courses during the two weeks then let Daryl know as soon as possible so this can be arranged.
