fly fishing

I am booked to come to Gozo in May for a week. Is it worth me bringing my saltwater flyfishing gear? I can bring spinning tackle too, but would prefer to flyfish... I fly-fish for bass (splott?) here in the UK

Help and advice from anyone would be appreciated!
