Hi, ppl first of all very interesting website, and by any chance do any one know of someone where I can buy some tumbrell. Thanks and tight lines.. Cool

I have no clue whether you might find them at fish shops, but my best bet would be trying to go to the pixkeria in the early morning, or maybe at some port when the fishing boats are coming back in.

Thanks for your quick help jean, but I already went few times to pixkerija and also asked few fishermen but with no avail. I tried my luck here because someone might know where to buy them or send me a pm with mobile number and I will phone him back.

I think most of the people here keep the tumbrell for themselves.As its a fish that you can use as bait for many types of fishing techniques and you only catch them in certain months so that makes it more difficult to find.

Is it still time to catch tumbrell or the season has passed?, because I thought that february and march and april are the peak.

Tumbrell are still around biut in fewer quantities.

We usually keep them in the freezer to use during the year whan tumbrell is not around. I have a chest freezer packed with tumbrell. All ready for the summer months for bottom fishing Smiley
