Fishing near 'upper barracca gardens'

Hi all
I'm visiting Malta for the first time in September and looking on good old Google maps we are staying near 'Upper Barracca gardens' in Valletta Grand harbour, basically is the fishing any good near there? I'm also looking to go deep sea fishing so any helps on good skippers to charter and bad ones to avoid would be great.

Hi Reg,

The Valletta ports produce quite a lot of fish by season. The further in the ports you go the sea is more and more unclear. You can walk to the outer areas of the ports, not far from where you are going to stay.

Also, Valletta has the main bus terminus, so you can reach almost anywhere by bus.
