Guys at what breaking strain of braid should i look for jigging ??? Would a 60lb braid be enough ?

And as for the clolour does it make a difference ? or should i go for a dark colour ?

60lb braid will be too thick, you will lose control of your lure if you jig in anything deeper than 60m or with a lure that is lighter than 200g.  The current will affect the line more too, since it has a thicker cross-section.  To be honest with you a 40lb braid would be best, and make sure you set your drag properly.

10x for your help clutch_kick :)

What about the colour ?

clutch_kick

Boqq colour is irrelevant.  Just make sure you use a 10 meter leader of very good quality Fluorocarbon leaderof atleast the same breaking strength of the braid, and connect the two using an FC knot. If you have trouble doing the knot, prepare the spooled reel, fluoro and meet me.  I'll do it for you, so you see how it is done.

Granitu 3m is a little too short.  Generally 3 times your rod length is the minimum you should use, and anyway Fluorocarbon does not suffer from elasticity as much as normal mono, especially if you use products that are designed for jigging like the Varivas Fluorocarbon Leader.

It will also tell you when the lure is close to the surface, avoiding missiles coming out of the water and into your face.  Another benefit is the fact that with a pair of gloves you can grab hold of the leader and hold the fish for gaffing or pulling it onboard.  Braid will cut even through gloves if you have a nice fish hooked and it decides to run again.
