KSFA 3 DAY TOURNAMENT - OPEN TO ALL

Way back in September 1994 KSFA organized its first fishing marathon which was a 48 hour nonstop marathon in aid of Cash For Cancer, since then 15 years ago KSFA has always kept this appointment by organizing either a marathon or as in this year`s case a 3 day tournament. As from its inception KSFA members have always practiced and preached catch and release and this tournament will be no different so all prospective participants must abide by this rule.
This tournament is being labeled as the Doubles Open 3-Day Tournament, as the title implies our anglers will be fishing in teams of 2, both fishing near each other and able to assist each other such as netting a fish. The venues and times will differ for each day making for better and different catches so each day new strategies must be devised much like a football coach playing against different opponents.

The tournament is being held between the 3rd and the 5th September.

Friday 3rd – 6pm to 11pm Birgu Toqba
Saturday 4th – 10am to 3pm Manoel Island
Sunday 5th - 6am to 11am Bighi

Prizes will be awarded for the first 3 places and also for the biggest fish caught throughout the event.

1st 100 Euros Voucher + Trophy each
2nd 75 Euros + Trophy each
3rd 50 Euros + trophy each
Biggest Fish 35 Euros Voucher

The entrance fee will be 22.5 Euros each for KSFA members and 25 Euros each for nonmembers.

An official presentation will be held on the 10th September during a Pasta Night at Pieta FC, this will be free of charge.

This year`s event is being held in collaboration with Mister Fish our main sponsor. We thank Mister Fish for his continued support. Those anglers interested in taking part may apply at any Mister Fish outlet.

well .... the most prestigious shore fishing event will be held as above ...... wished we had some other new challenge but 12 teams registered both from KSFA and Dentici club.

Anyone would like to come and watch is more than welcome ....... although we do not promise much time to talk about tackle and techniques due to the high level of competition.
