Lapsi - Maxima is of German make as Caldaland well noted. Maxima have some great flurocarbon, good quality stuff and reasonably priced. I had bought several line spools from Cabelas, the outfitters in the USA, who have a huge number of customers in Malta.

Yes as other have said Maxima is made in Germany and of top quality.
Its the only line l use her in Australia when not using braid.
I use 'ultra green' for snapper fishing. 'tournament silver' for all my marlin fishing, and 'Camilion' for surf fishing....can't go past it
