Either tonight (fri to sat) or tomorrow (sat to sunday) i will be going up to cirkewwa in the early hours of the morning, circa midnight-1 am till around 7am,  for some squid fishing if anyone would like to join you're more than welcome. Should the NE winds remain constant throughout the weekend, i may also consider letting out my imrejkba for sargi & kahli.

 Cool

Rob wish I could join you but I am not a "farfet il-lejl" these days. According to the Old Testament God created the night for sleeping/resting and not for sitting on a rock by the sea-side! I had to read the post a few times cos I could not be sure if you stated "midnight to 7.00am".

Should the weather be favourable, I am planning to go squid fishing next Wednesday, the 23rd of March. time - 6.30pm-9.00pm

Keeping current weather forcasts in mind, there are 2 great locations to go to in mind, both up north.

should you like to join feel free to do so.

i can imagine it now

7.30pm - squid caught
7.32pm - squid cleaned and placed on the bbq
7.34pm - squid is smelling delicious
7.35pm - flip over the squid
7.37pm - squid trf to plate or tissue
7.38pm - squid starts journey down into my stomach

Veru ta Shanook - very suspicious, he never gets anything when we are around, blames the weather. Best I think that we make a "patto"....if he does not land anything he wont get any food, rest assured that Rob will come up with all his "guns" and all his LED lights!! His detail showing how he gobbled the poor squid in 8 mins says it all.
