@Noelgalea - Please send the full registration details to Dr. Carabott (Gogo) either via PM here or email. You need to submit these details in order to qualify for the temporary BFT permit to be able to land BFT for the tournament.

According to the count here, there are now 60 boats registered. I'm sure Gogo has had more registrations, as we have now stepped up our campaign including the posters at various outlets. Be sure to rmind all your friends that the closing date for the BFT temp permit for the tournament is 25 May. That's only 12 days away!!

Today registered another two boats.
I am processing seven other boats from Ghaqda Marsamxett.
As to noelgalea ( above post) once I have full data I will register.
That means 70 boats.

Still waiting entries from Ghaqda Gzira.

As soon as I have gathered others I will post their boat numbers.

Thanks for the update Gogo. The clock is ticking, we should be close to 70 boats by end of next week.

Stll short of our target. Tournament posters also have also been affixed at a "Pastizzi & Pizza " outlet in Mosta and one at a "Pastizzi" place in M"Scala near St Thomas Bay, who knows,heq..no "naughty" comments please?!...yes I do love "pastizzi", anyway..who doesn't?

So far seventy one ( 71 ) boats have been regularly registered for BFT one day permit consequently for the Tournament.

About another six are still pending. Closing date for BFT permit is the 25th of May.

Registration for Tournament without BFT permit up to 16th June .

Actually GoGo, the final registration date for boats without the BFT permit is Tuesday, 19 June, just before the actual pre Tournament briefing. That way, since this is a mandatory briefing to be attended by all skippers, all participating boats are officially registered, and participation fee is collected.

Guys, only 5 more days to be eligible to register your boat for the Oris Big Game Fishing Tournament and be eligible to land Bluefin Tuna which counts as a permissible catch for the tournament. Pass on the message to avoid dissapointment.
