The site owner has kindly enhanced this website to help us boaters/fishers by including an offshore 3 Day Detailed forecast summary and 5 day marine forecast including theoretical wave heights based on scientific models.

We'll be working close with Tony to try and enhance and tailor some widgets to display up on the MFF site for your benefit. In the meantime be sure to check out his monitoring station located in Mellieha.

Skip - is 5 kts for example the same as Force 5? If not, it would be great to have wind showing in Force measure as well, if it's possible.

No Kevin, 5knts is the wind speed.  That would be equivilant to force 2-3.  For a full description of windspeed and beufort force goto windfinder

you can always goodle 'kn to Bft' conversion and its straight forward from there...

Kevin - go into the above Weather On Line site - very simple to use, converts wind speeds to whatever you wish. EG 5knts = Force (Bft) 2 or 6mph or 9kph etc.
