HI,

I would like some help with regards to trolling for big game like sword fish and pastardella. The question is, if it's better to use the down rigger so you can drop the leure a bit under the water or if it's better without any weight so that the bait stays at the surface of the water?

Thanks for your help

Swords and Pastardella tend to go for surface lures, and the long centre rigger is a popular spot

you should also go for Strike Pro or Rapala which go up to 20 ft underwater while trolling and u can also get up some speed with them . tried them this year with success. the ones with a plastic tip in the front use 8inches minimun.
