What do you think of the shimano tyrnos 30......

Has anybody used a shimano tyrnos

The Tyrnos 30 a nice and good sized reel for local trolling and fishing. Is this the single or two speed model you are looking at? It's got a graphite frame and a better handle than the TLD25 plus holds more line, BUT is more expensive.

Do you already have this reel or are you looking at buying and if so locally or online? Shimano reels are very very smooth and you won't be disappointed.

Consider also the TLD30IIa and perhaps an Okuma Solterra 30 (either single or 2 speed) if you want a alternative. Penn also have the Graph-Lite GLD30II

The Makaira is in a diff league to the ones I mentioned above, then you need to compare with a Shimano Tiagra A and Alutecnos Albacore Reel
