Snorkel with valve throw it away now.
Normal snorkel always, and also remove it from the mouth whilst diving.

In summer 3mm suit full, either black or camo, no difference.
Gloves always.

Weight buy a rubber belt, and weight you have to decide and try. In shallows you will have to use a bit more weight, but if you surpass the 10 meter then you have to be carefull, and be  + buoyant at 10 meters.

If you want to buy, and need some help, go to Jason at M&A Bugibba, and he sells good stuff at reasonable prices, and he also used to practice this sport, and so he can be of very good help.

baghira why snorkles with valves are not good for this sport i always use them. what is the difference from a common one to snorkle with valve in this sport?

You are far mate ......... very very far..............
seems better you take previous advice and practice first......
Fish are very very sensitive... They sense the smallest noise, vibration, pulse etc. with their lateral line.....
Imagine all the bubbles and hiss and noise etc of that valve you have!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Throw it away or use it for swimming man...... and get a common pipe......
You cannot ask so many things, and understand all........
Practice first, and then you will notice some things as the months pass by....

ic thanks baghira will remove it than and get a normal pipe. Thanks

Granitu

and not all normal pipes are good... avoid the ones that when you blow forcefully whistle a little. They are practically an alarm to breams that a diver is around. learnt from experience
Good season so far.....

Find a pipe made of silicone which is stiff and flexible enough at the same time. Good dive shops have them
