Autopilot

We are thinking of buying an autopilot. We are considering the Comnav Commander P2 and the Garmin GPH 12.
Does anyone know what difference there is between these 2 autopiltos or if one is better than the other.

Do Comnav have a dealer here in Malta?

Remember buy the dealer and not the brand as they provide you with the after sales, support and warranty.

Also consider Raymarine, I have the S1000 and am very happy with it.

Caruana marine is the dealer in Malta of comnav. Went at ripard to ask about raymarine and they told us that they will call us for an appointment to check the system we have but never received the  call so we ruled out raymarine. Medcomms were very helpful they sent 2 technician to check our system . Caruana always has good customer service. The comnav is 400 euro more expensive.than the garim but we don't know if it is better since it is more expensive
