Kayak fishing anyone? Trolling with the kayak

Hi guys, I have been fishing for about  10 years on and off with the imrejkba and spear fishing. Recently i have purchased a kayak and started trolling with for kahli etc and also now I have started using the predapro for a baracuda. I have not achieved any good results yet, even though I have a good criend of mine who is much more experienced than i am who is catching at this time of year with the kayak. I usually go to freeport / wied ix xoqqa area or grand harbour or marsamxett. Any other people kayak fishing? Also any tips wouod be appreciated. Thank you

Hi, and sorry for the late reply. I have fished with a kayak over the last years, and i have managed to catch more fish using the kayak than from land. indeed, it would be interesting if kayak fishing enthusiasts - or kayak enthusiasts in general - could team up and find premises where kayaks can be  stored, ideally in an area close to the sea. the malta canoe federation has premises at marsamxett, and the malta canoe racing club has premises at msida. however it would be interesting to see if alternative premises in other seaside locations can be found.

Hi, here in the UK I do a lot of fishing for mackerel. Trolling with feathers is good. My sit on kayak is a moken 10 , very stable and well kitted out.
