Coming to Gozo, Xlendi, apartment is overlooking Xlendi Bay - In February 2015, was wondering if its worth bringing my travel rod and if so what species could i catch from the shore/rocks - is there any rocks with easy access (prefer deep water) and is there a shop i can buy bait on Gozo?

Also do i need a fishing licence, last time i came to Malta I didn't

Cheers

Hi!
In February in Shlendi the shore fishing is very quiet. The fishing is very comfortable from the promenade. You can fish for smal bream and mullet on bred and float. That's all. No need of license.
