Hi all,

This year will be the first time I will be trying my luck fishing for albacore.
Found lots of useful information in here! Read and learnt a lot.

At the moment still setting up the Trolling setup.
When it comes to lures, what size do you use? Should I stick to the 6-8 inch size?

Also, did anyone ever try jigging for albacore?
Or maybe Spinning when one sees surface action?

Tight lines all :)

to CATCH is nice...but to RELEASE is nicer !

Depending on the number of lures you intend to troll, i would recommend a mix of both hard and soft lures, average length fom 4-6 inches, maybe even 8 inches for soft lures.  Some really good spinners do cast for alungi during the season.  I have known others to fly fish also.
