PLACE TO FISH BARACUDA

Is the area of xemxija and near st paul islands good to fish for baracuda? In which months are they cought?

Never fished over there, but november - january are best months imo

As freeman said the best months are from nov-jan and the area you mantioned is not bad.You should always try to change place to try to find a nice shoal.

Basically try to look for places where u usually find bait fish (bubin, vopi, lacci) if u find those you will most probabbly find cudas . do some casts and if there are cudas u can be sure they will come have a look at your lure and you should be able to see them.

yesturday we lost a nice one of around 5 ft. He swollowed the rapala and when the fish came close to the boat, it turned and he cut the line whith his sharp teeth. Was huge seeing it coming to the boat. Only that catch. Looks like they left again

i use to catch some from veccja breakwater

Vecca is good to catch baracuda especely at this time of the year when vopi comes in  and oviosly big fish like baracuda that are predators come inn as well. When i go with my fishing rod there when they catch baracudas i use one of the vopi that i catch and "(insanara min fuq dara)" and leve i go alive and i continue to fish. since now i caught 3 baracudas with that method.

Marfa is a good place for cudas....if you find place there.On the jetty.
