Can anyone confirm what this species is called in Maltese?
In Latin, I know that it is called Mycteroperca rubra and in Italian it's called Cernia Rossa.

I am not sure as to what it is in Maltese as one book that I have labels it as a "Cawlun" whereas on the forum I found a photo of it labelled "Cerna ta' Denbha Dritt". Are these both words which refer to the same fish or is there some mistake somewhere? If they're different, does anyone know the scientific name for "Cawlun" & that for "Cerna Ta' Denbha Dritt"? thanks guys
