Buddhagrass,unluckily there's only one billiards' table left there...last time i went was  two weeks ago and seems there was a referbishment...
the venue is still great for the beer 

oh really ...... havent been there in like 2 months so I think i missed the action going over there. But i still like the place ..... do you think we'll be able to go there although referbishment is going on ? ........ or else we could go to Il-Veccja. He has nice platters, nice view, maybe a live band and a good selection of wine/beer.

refurbishment was completed,,,celebrated my bday with about 20 of my friends last week and was good fun...but i'm afraid there was a big shortage of apetizers, but i guess if we advice them we're going and tell them we are thirsty i guess they will prepare us something

that is cool man ..... i love that place. Anyway, it is not me who decide but keep Corner Pocket and Il-Veccja in mind. Veccja is also wicked ...... and a wide variety of amazing platters. We could even go to The Fortress Wine Bar in Xemxija ..... again very good platters and Wine duh :-). Honestly I must say that during this time of the year, Xmas/NYear period, I'de love to join up for drinks instead of food. I'm sure we'll have a good laugh getting pissed and saying dirty Santa Claus jokes

Not that its any problem to me, But maby we can do this as a boys only thing Its up to you guys..But the last time we met up I also heard some people saying that the next one should be amongst us guys.

Listen all guys. I had the opportunity to meet up with some of the members during the meal last wednesday where it has been decided that, due to the fact that its festivities period, this activity will again be open to both members and non members, (I mean including girls), if not, many would not attend. Do not worry, time will come when next time, it will be just for members. (hope that not all wifes end up as members so that they can join in )

Agreed also that it would be an appetisers and drinks outing, so that everyone drinks as much as he likes. I also think that festivities is not the best time that one goes out for lunch (thrust me).

All the ideas are good, but we must find a place able to accomadate us all, (veccia maybe too small), and not a quiet place  (like fortress), and a place which can offer us appetizers. Maybe this time we can make it more towards the south, so to the fair with those living in this area.

Any comments would be appreciated guys, and any ideas also...
I will be for a 2 week holiday now, so I will read posts when I come back. Maybe you gazzetta whom started it, can speak to Nick also, and take this organization in your hands guys..I will help when I come back..

Hi guys just to shortly answer your questions. Rest assured that for me it makes no difference, and I was the first one to tell the others that I would also like a gents night out, but they said to me better next time and not for the festivities.
So If you still beleive that my lady is the problem, you are all welcome to challenge me Those who know me, know what I am saying.
You should understand that the forum is run by someone (the administrator), and other moderators, and they are the ones that I asked about this issue. These persons take the hassle, and for respect, I would not love to leave them out of this activity. As you can read throu the pages there were also many others who expressed their opinion, and whom would not come without their lady.
As regards the location, I just did not want to be egoistic, If you choose for the north, its better for me guys.
But if you still insist to organise it between you guys, go ahead, I would not interfere for sure. But there has to be someone responsible to take decisions. (I will organise a gents night out in the future 100%)

Baghira .....  ..... I totally understand your situation here. Honestly I prefered to be gents only cause it will be a different experience  (you know what I mean) but ........ I am not the organiser here and make no decisions whatsoever. So ........ whatever you guys decide please let me know. I am in for sure ok. With or without the girls. This time I'll bring over my camera and we can have some nice group photos  . Catch ya all later.
