Guys I need to post about the venue. I had been considering The Black Pearl (Msida) but the amount of money he wanted to charge was very high, plus on a Friday night it's like a disco night for the public as well.

I need to speak with Baghira about the place he suggested but also to get an idea, what do you think about Punch and Judy again in Rabat as a venue?

Currently am thinking along the lines of a good rates on the drinks and some nibbles.......

its not easy if its just drinks skip. If we were eating it will be a different story but just drinks... Who is going to close his place for a private function on a Friday night its a long shot..dont want to sound pessimistic but thats life.

True Tony, thing with Black Pearl which would have been fun as a place, was the drinks were expensive. Dont expect the place exclusive but at the same time we need to be somewhere where we can chat without screaming!

Skip, my father told me that there is a really good place in Bugibba called Zeta. He provides a lot of appitizers and really cheap prices on drinks. He has indoors and outdoors too. If you guys agree I can drop by tonight, speak to the guy and will check if can he offer us some kind of package. Just let me know

Hey Skip, why don't we make it again at Punch and Judy as you said, and have it eating as well. Who wants just drinks can come as well, we can all order individual. I imagine he serves a varied menu.
If its easier for him, we ask him to set up a variety and we pre-order.
What do you others think??

I think punch & judy would be good...its nice and cozy and also theres the smoking area etc...and not that expensive at all....
