Correction - you pay VAT on the full price (the invoice), cost of items plus shipping.  On top of that , you also have to pay customs duty, I think its 3.5%.

Re: Vat and duty, i don't think it will be much of an issue, in that case, when collecting money we need to collect a further 5 euro(circa 18% Vat on net amount of 30euro) and an extra 1euro for duty (3.5% on 30euro)  on the price achieved and should Customs stop us, I can pay the VAT and duty upon collection, if they are not stopped, i will refund the differance upon collection of the lamps. should there be any differances we can settle them between us then.

Oh, gaffer...if you need real good top quality boat lights go to "yachtlights.com" from the USA....u @ Robby just noted on a few posts that you got the feeling or impression that some guys are suspecting that you intend to make some money on ordering these LED lights...If this is the case, and there are members (here I hope that I am mistaken) who envision such things I say "shame on you", how childish & stupid. Where has all the trust gone? Rather than being thankful, when someone takes an initiative, first thoughts by some morons are that money is being pocketed. Tal biki ta.

Robby Vat is paid just on the invoice of the objects bought and not the shipping which is 18% and for the the duty I don't know exacltey but it's peanuts.It is impossible to the supplier to send that quantity as a gift or present because it will be a good quantity.I hope they don't stop you but I know what they do.

I'll ask if they can come in batches say of 5 each and I'll mail them in my name, my boss and a cousin of mine... And we'll just say they're for our garden... Legal tax avoidance and not illeagal tax evasion. Good idea?

rob why are u going into all this hassle ......the URL is there and anyone can order personally and they wont be charged VAT on such a small item.
those who are not familiar with ordering on Ebay can do the order thru you but maybe u will only have to do one batch......trying to ave u a bit of hassle man....Always ur call
