i have one of the ones i am proposing and many have seen it being used. I think the no.1 pro is that it is submersable and its a white light, another pro is that it is smaller and lighter in weight by around half a kg or so.... secondly, there is no hidden charges as the postage is already included and any defects will be replaced since its through ebay now... although i am still waiting for a quoatation, i believe we'll get a cheaper price through ebay.

i use one of these in my marine set-up with no problems. it is made of aluminium.the ones you are suggesting would end up being at least some 35 euros including taxes and maybe courier hidden charges.besides,there is always the risk the will never arrive.or,there may be defects.these are 7000k which makes them pure white and not yellowish although 6500k is also very good. considering all the pros and cons,for 10 euros more ill get a better floodlight with no risks at all.

thanks for bringing this to my attention and feel free to post on the forum as an other alternative, however, this you brought forward is not submersible and is not described for marine use.... and I am assuming its got a plastic body.....

now with 45euro per item i do not know if they'll opt for it as i've already secured a price of 28-29 euro per item exc VAT for a fully submersible (or not submersible) strong alluminium cased flood light.

What do you think?

Below is my correspondance with the ebay seller.....

Basically he offered them to me at 34.75US dollar instead of 38US dollar.

So, we'll be getting them for circa 25.40 euro inc shipping instead of circa 28euro.

thanks to shanook, this is much cheaper than the original supplier i dealt with who only went down to 41Us dollar/29.78euro inc shipping.

I will later send you all the final price with an estimate of VAT and Customs Duty and should there be any differances when we recieve the bulbs, I will settle with everyone then.

Rob, these lights that we are going to purchase..are they good for Kalamari or Sardines..its confusing seeing that the only thing that's been attracted to them in all the outings are a couple of Sardines....LOL

Price net of VAT if bulbs make it through Customs without stopping, circa 25.20euro each.....

If stopped at customs, we will have to add VAT at 18% of full price which is circa 4.54euro and Customs Duty on full price at 3.5%  is 1.04euro......

thus total cost if stopped by customs is 30.68euro (Lm13.17).... therefore, I will be collecting 31euro for each bulb order placed and when we recieve the bulbs i will give out the change accordingly.....

your feedback on this is appreciated....
