Here in Gozo the part time fisherman are grumbling also about the lampuki season and the delatanti are grumbling even more, they are saying that they don't remember a bad start like this but they have hope that it will come later as we are a moon behind whatsoever that means. Anybody know what they are talking about as was not going to tell them i don't know what it means, so i just agreed with them.

Dont tell everyone about the Strike Pro as there are not a lot of lampuki around. I think the strike pro is one of the best Lampuki lures (my 2 dollars of course) I never leave without a couple in the boat.

are u MFB if not it is illegal.........only full time or MFB can use long lines for lampuki.......another passtime eradicated by our beloved Government...

in our meeting with the fisheries at punch and judy earlier this year, the fisheries itself could not establish or define what is meant by a longline..... so, having 25-30 for lampuki on a piece of line does not even start to compare with an 800-1500 hook longline let out for swordfish or tuna...... so what i would recomend is, don't refer to it as a longline but an extended floating paternoster rig.
