Good morning everyone my name is Lloyd and I am taking on gozo for the next 10 days from the UK and I have bought my spinning gear with me I am staying near xewkija any tips on location and times would be really appreciated thank you

Welcome. At Mgarr port (where the ferry comes in) you should find some barracudas hopefully. Try at sunrise, sunset and during night. Best place in Gozo is Qbajjar but it's on the other side of the island. Enjoy!

Thank you very much for the reply is there any areas to advise on the port or any no fishing areas?

Try moving around the place, look for the fish if it seems that the fish can't find you. I don't think that there are any no fishing areas, but I'm not sure on that.

Also could anyone advise any good sea fishing excursions I've always wanted to catch tuna if it's terrible right time of year or anything big
