Does anyone know where to buy a high grade stainless steel 3 step boat ladder, presumably from abroad. The one I have on the boat, although it's one of the most commonly used locally, is already rusting within 2 months at sea even though I used to lift it up to the bathing platform. Now I'm keeping it down because it started to stain the platform.

Use stainless steal polish cleaner every week....

Every time I go out fishing I clean the boat thoroughly including stainless steel with clean fresh water which I carry with me. That means I clean the boat 3 times a week. It takes me about 30 minutes each time. Not that the boat is messy with fish I catch but because sea spray  ;) I don't have any rust stains anywhere, just the ladder.

Try to rub it with olive oil on a damp cloth after throughly cleaning it from all the dirt.

I use it on all stainless steel parts on my boat, (tal-Kaptan kien qalili din )

It works ;D

buy something that does not rust. its cheaper in the long run and more time on your hands to fish.

Like what? I went through link you gave me and seems interesting. There are some aluminium ladders but I'm not sure if they corrode or not, and I don't know if they're strong enough.

aluminium is very strong and does not corrode in sea water. just keep it away from copper or it will turn to dust!
