guys.... used to hear my l father-in-law say..'hallija ha taghmel ix xita halli tikber il lampuki',,, 'let it rain as the lampuki will grow in size'. Its obvious it has no direct meaning however anyone can confirm or comment!

Stevea when lampuki are not being caught from land I don't go anymore until a good rainfall that changes weather condtion (sea/air tempreatur) than go for lampuki!!

I found it very good catcing lampuki when raining!! we shelter from rain and lampuki party in the sea!!

On Saturday we caught some nice lampuki, tumbrell, cervjol and loads of tunnagg (released). From what i can understand I was on Bigboy's cimi since all the lampuki are there! :-) Sorry mela bigboy and happy birthday!

Out on Saturday with my son and daughter's B/F. We caught some decent sized Lampuki and Cervjol (AJ) and a tank full, all 50lts of it, Fanfri.,....we stopped by one Cima, and the fanfri went crazy...So did we, we have shared them with fellow boaters on the pontoon, family, neighbours, and the freezer!!!. Also hooked into some tunnagg, which we gladly released. Alll in all, a good day's fishing. So for the following weeks, its baked fanfri, grilled cervjol, more baked fanfri, and some lampuki in between as well.!!!!

Will give the Lampuki trolling a break, and concentrate on some deep sea fishing now. Then go for Lampuki in 3 weeks time, when hopefully they'll have grown bigger, and the fight will be more enjoyable

Actually we started late, around 9.00am, and headed back to port by 2.30pm
